Based on a peer review, I received an AV® Preeminent™ Rating, the highest possible rating in both legal quality and ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell, a well-known publisher of a national lawyer's directory. This is based on general legal ability and ethics and is not specific to patent law.
My Work Experience in Patent Law
After over ten years of experience in complex litigation with highly regarded law firms, I decided to change my focus to computer technology and patent law. With this goal in mind, I obtained an M.S. in computer science (3.87 G.P.A.). My computer science adviser has described me as among the top 2 percent of graduate students he has taught in terms of my ability to understand and express the concepts of computer science. Subsequently, I passed the patent bar examination given by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I have worked for several law firms doing patent law.
Although my technical degree is in computer science, I enjoy learning about new technologies and have worked with a variety of different types of inventions. You can click a link below to see a patent writing sample.
I am now enjoying having my own solo practice. Below are the law firms where I have worked in the area of patent law.
